Speech therapy is a discipline in charge of human communication and its disorders; Therefore, in APAES we provide care in Neurodevelopment and Neurorehabilitation processes in people with disabilities through a comprehensive care model.

The speech therapy service works on the evaluation, prevention, habilitation and rehabilitation of the areas of hearing, language, speech, voice and stomatognathic functions (swallowing, chewing, breathing, suction, phonation), which can be affected by causes biological, psychological or social that affect the communicative well-being of people and their quality of life.

In this sense, different actions and approaches are constituted regarding the identification, diagnosis and intervention of communication disorders and alterations.
